And I think they are. Depend on what romance is for you... :)
A French guy will bring you flowers and a poem he woke up to wrote at 3am. He will take you for a wonderful walk and then to your favourite coffee-shop.
An Italian guy will always open the door for you, talk to you looking you lovingly in the eyes, tell you how 'márvelluzze' you are and will be thinking when can he introduce you to his mother. ;)
