Back home

Back at my place, feeling pretty well (no fever, no pain, like I say), slowly getting back into the 'normal' life, catching up with friends and family, reorganizing my life a bit, working on the translation and... trying to rest a bit too. :-)

I don't go online that often so the list of unread emails is growing. I'll catch up later.

The retreat in Jampaias went pretty well, and I feel a certain sense of growing-up. Still digesting everything...

I'm much better, thanks. Out of the hospital since Sunday 7th :-))) and on my way to Madrid tomorrow. :-)
On Saturday, I'll fly to Portugal.

At home at the hospital?...

On my 6th night at the hospital, I know all the nurses (I think), some by their names. Some come and greet me and check how I am even if they're not in charge of my room on that particular shift, one tried to teach me a few words of Hebrew, other explains me everything in Hebrew, slowly, looking me in the eyes in a coach-like way, trying that I follow up though I haven't a clue...

Now that I'm feeling better it's not even that bad...
(joking... but there are worse places to be and surely worse hospitals)

PS no stress, I should be out tomorrow and it was 'just' a gall bladder infection. As soon as I can write properly (only one hand free as I'm still on I/V antibiotic), I'll post the whole story, well, the interesting details of it.

Departure expected - Wednesday 10th

- first to Madrid for a couple of days;
- 13th or 14th back to Portugal, don't know yet if first to Setúbal or first to Livramento;
- 16th - birthday sis C. ;)
- 19th, 20th, 21st - retiro Jampaias :-)))
- most likely on holidays somewhere until the end of October.
