I can't say it's the most beautiful bridge in the world, I don't know all the bridges in the world... It is definitely one of my favourites; and, for me, the most beautiful in Portugal and the most beautiful 'for cars' that I know.April 8th - I'm travelling South, it's just after 10am and the sky is covered with thin clouds partially veiling the Sun. Looking ahead it looks as if the bridge would end in the middle of nowhere... the sunrays are reflected by the clouds and the river bathes everything in a whitish light, hiding any signs of nature or civilization. I feel so calm...
